John Reese's Marketing Blog - Reboot Your Brain
John Reese has a fantastic blog entitled Marketing Secrets - if you haven't visited it - do so now. He has been posted some amazing coaching videos. When someone like John is offering free videos with great content it is always worth your time. The video that I have linked to for this particular post is entitled "Reboot Your Brain: How To Quickly & Easily Start Getting Anything you want, and INSTANTLY Experience a Higher Level of Thinking". Now the title alone should be enough to make you vist the blog and watch the video. And be sure to check out the other great videos - with real content that he has posted. You Can Make A Living Online by David Vallieres
Just because I have not posted anything for a few weeks, does not mean that I have not been busy testing out courses, ebooks, you name it. Anyways, the latest product that I have been working with is David Vallieres’ “You Can Make A Living Online” Course. I started on it last week and have gotten through the first lesson, now working through the second one. While I can’t provide a complete review on this course, I can tell you that I am completely engaged and look forward to working through the each of the lessons. That is a good sign. Think about how many internet marketing courses/ebooks, etc you have purchased, started and then just lost interest in because they lost your attention? Probably all too many, because that has happened to me many times. I have to say that I really like this course - the content, the format and the approach. The course is organized into 7 Big lessons and a case study. I say big lessons because the content is multimedia - all working nicely together. For example in lesson one, there is the written material, an hour long audio interview, 2 short videos, and some additional reading materials (which I read). I have given myself a week’s timeframe to complete each lesson - so in theory I will be done in 7 weeks. I will keep as close to that timeline as possible.
David recently started another site - a review site of all things internet marketing - NetRatingsHub.com - it is free of all affiliate links and you can read several honest reviews on an array of internet marketing products. I just finished reading this ebook today and glad I finally got around to reading it. This little ebook is 20 pages and all meat. I finished it today and already started putting the 3 steps process into place. I will report out on my results as they happen. So far the ebook makes good on it’s promise of “You Can Start This 3-Step System From Scratch And Be Making Money By The End Of The Week!” But newbies, please don’tbe fooled, if you have no internet marketing experience, this will not work for you because it builds on the assumption you already know how to do certain things. Though the title might be tempting, you won’t be able to make any cash if you don’t already have some of the necessary technical skills. This ebook is not a “how to” and does not offer any nuts and bolts content read below for the specific skills you will need.
I purchased this ebook during a dimesale - meaning it starts off at $5.00 and then it increases in small increments over time. I believe I grabbed my copy around $10 - well worth the price. This ebook and system has helped me make sense of and leverage the growing pile of Private Label Rights (PLR) content. If you are reading this review wondering just what the heck PLR content is - then this is probably not a good ebook for you to start with and the system is not going to make you any money. Essentially if you have joined a bunch of those free or paid membership sites that provide you with monthly PLR ebooks, articles, etc but you haven’t quite figured out what to do with them - then this ebook is for you. Wes gives you a good system (in theory) to follow, but you still need some of the technical skills to apply the system to get results. For example, you will need to understand how to upload a salespage to you website and even how to use html to do some editing to a salesletter. If you already know these basics and want to do more with the PLR content that everyone seems to be offering out there on the net, then you will find this ebook very useful. If what I have written so far makes no sense, then skip over this ebook. But once you do understand those basics, then get come back and get this book because it fills in one of those annoying information gaps about internet marketing.

John Reese - Internet Auction Secrets DVD Review
I resisted buying this DVD course for some time, but my curiosity finally got the best me. I was looking for resources that would help me take my casual ebay activities to the next level. I was searching for resources that would provide me with some intermediate to advanced strategies.
I decided I would give this DVD a try for two reasons:
1) John Reese's exceptional reputation for internet marketing
2) The DVD title hinted that this might give me some insight to starting an online auction business.
After watching the DVD I quickly discovered that this course was not going to get me to the next level. This DVD is great if you are new to ebay and/or looking for a resource that will give you a strong foundation to start selling on ebay. It is not for ebay users who would consider themselves intermediate or advanced users. As a course for beginners, it is excellent, it will show you how to get started quickly and correctly and the information is well presented and easy to learn. Some of the highlights include: a complete breakdown and discussion of an actual auction, a great demonstration on creating good photos as well as proper packing and shipping techniques – two areas that tend to intimidate people starting out on ebay.
My biggest disappointment is that there is nothing in this course that addresses the second part of the title “A Step-by-step guide to running a successful online auction business”. Aside from John stating the great opportunity ebay offers for starting an online auction business, there is nothing in the course that will actually help you do that. So don’t buy this DVD thinking it will help you start an online business, because it won’t. It never delivers on that promise. So I am giving this DVD a rating of 3 for the well presented, solid content it offers for a beginner.
If you are just starting out, then this course will give you a solid advantage over those beginners who rely on the trial and error method. My recommendation is to get a copy on ebay and not pay full price, assuming you already have an account on ebay. I bought a new copy of this DVD from an authorized reseller for 1/3 of the price.

The Google Profits method combines Google Adwords and Clickbank products. This is the same method as the GoogleCash Method by Chris Carpenter.
Does it work? Based on my experience testing the method - Yes, but not to the extent that the salesletter would have you believe.
I bought this ebook the same time I purchased Chris Carpenters' Google Cash. I wanted to see if there was a difference in how the two authors were using the same method. Having said that, it is hard to write a review of Google Profits without comparing it to Google Cash. Both of the ebooks promote the same money making formula of using Google Adwords to promote Clickbank products. But there are a number of differences, and I will cover those later. Speaking from experience, the Google Profits method works. I made my first few bucks online using this method, it was the first method I felt confident enough to try out. Glad I did.
So why 3 stars and not 5? The problem is that the information in the ebook is now outdated to some extent. You will not make the "huge online profits" that the title suggests if you rely on just the techniques covered in this ebook, but you are highly likely to make a few bucks. A few years back, one could make quite a bit of money using just these techniques, but with all the changes happening at Google and internet marketing in general, it takes A LOT MORE work than this ebook suggests.
Today using this method also takes A LOT MORE MONEY, more creativity, and more importantly, updated techniques. But with that said, if you are new to google adwords, clickbank, and internet marketing, then I suggest you pick up a copy of either Google Profits (Wade Winger) or Google Cash (Chris Carpenter). Because these are basic proven internet money making methods, and I strongly agree with Wade's closing statement; that after reading and applying the Google Profits Formula "you should be well on your way to making online profits or at least have a very good idea on how its done." After you have tested this formula out and made your first sale, then I suggest going the next step and getting an advanced product like Beating Adwords, Affiliate Project X or Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.
Google Profits or Google Cash? Google Profits (69 pages) Wade has a very succint style of writing which I appreciate, there is no fluff. The information is well presented, and easy to learn. The reader is not going to suffer from information overload as Wade breaks out the content of each chapter into two categories - Information and Action. Wade also provides a ton of high quality screen shots. In addition there is a Quick Start document, which is a cheat sheet, a one pager of the Google Profits method outlined in 15 steps.
Google Cash (135 pages) This is considered the original ebook on making money with Google Adwords and Clickbank. Personally, I find that Chris offers more content and detail than Google Profits. But then I am someone who likes more detail, techniques, etc. Chris also provides a number of great, easy to follow videos to support the ebook. And because he offers videos, I think Chris is able to go a bit more indepth with the method he teaches, and explain how he used it to create huge profits.
